Circe

Circe has always fascinated me. She is the famous enchantress of the Odyssey, but above all a mysterious, free and powerful woman who lives in the company of wild animals on a beautiful Island in the middle of the Sea. She is the daughter of Helios, the Sun, and is she has a vast knowledge of potions and herbs, that’s why, in the frame, I drew some of the flowers and herbs that are more often connected to magic and illusion like Stramonium, Snowdrop, Alchemilla and Belladonna.
